How to Measure Your Dog’s Paw for Boots
Getting the right size boots for your dog is important for comfort and a secure fit.
To measure your dog’s paw, place their paw flat on a piece of paper. While the paw is resting naturally on the ground, trace around the outside of the paw with a pen or pencil.
Make sure the paw is fully flat and bearing weight, as this is when the paw spreads to its largest size. Measuring while the paw is lifted can result in boots that are too small.
Once traced, measure the width and length of the outline and compare it with the size guide to choose the best fit for your dog’s boots.
Tip: If your dog is between sizes, it’s usually best to choose the slightly larger size for comfort.
